We are working to create a one-of-a-kind park at 249 N. Main Street in historic downtown Oregon, WI where there are over two acres of open green space. The new library is no longer going there, so let’s keep this last gem of downtown land for community use. This spot has magnificent 250-year-old trees that we plan to surround with art sculptures, native plants, and paths. The park will also have a shelter with picnic tables, a kids’ play area, and more. Please join us!
Beautiful displays of sculptures and other art installations.
Native flowers, trees, monarch gardens, and rain gardens.
Benches for relaxation along walking and biking paths.
An imaginative children’s play area with a climbing castle.
Plaques on the history of this land and earlier residents.
A shelter for family and business/group gatherings, like: picnics, meetings, and classes.
Easy access to downtown: grab some food downtown and walk to the park in a few minutes to share a meal with family or friends.
